Post-graduate students from Tajikistan in Michurinsk GAU
In the framework of cooperation between the leading Agricultural universities of the CIS, Michurinsk SAU was visited by post-graduate students from the Tajik Agrarian University Satorov Fariddin and Yatimov Fazliddin. The theme of their research is: "processing and storage of fruits and vegetables" and "innovative technologies in horticulture." Together with professors from the department of crop processing and horticulture, post-graduate students visited the research and technology center at the university and the training and research greenhouse complex «Roscha».

On October 19, 2018, the staff of the office of international affairs held an event for newly arrived students from Africa, Libya and Bangladesh. Students were told about the history of the university, the peculiarities of life in Russia and migration rules.

Gardener's day 2018
21.09.2018 in Michurinsk for 13th time the all-Russian exhibition “day of the gardener” was held. As part of the exhibition, Michurinsk State Agrarian University was visited by a delegation of distinguished guests headed by the Governor of the Tambov region. Accompanied by the rector of Michurinsk SAU Vadim Babushkin, they got acquainted with the scientific and practical base of the University, designed to conduct fundamental and applied research in the field of agriculture, the field of creating healthy foods. Members of the delegation visited the center for collective use of scientific equipment, visited the research laboratory of agricultural and food products, which held a practical lesson in winemaking, as well as the laboratory of precision agriculture with a new modern model of the quadcopter. In the winter garden, the pride of Michurinsk State Agrarian university, the guests were shown the possibility of creating fruit and flower arrangements, and presented a tasty and aesthetically attractive souvenirs.

Report of students from Mexico
20.09.2018 a report «Evaluation of the state of tomato fruits by the methods of chlorophyll fluorescence and spectral analysis» of students of the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico Rivera Talamantes Carlos Francisco de Jesus and Gonzalez Lopez Gabriela was represented. Students were training in the research laboratory of Biophotonics, led by the head of the laboratory, doctor of technical Sciences Andrey Valentinovich Budagovsky. Students spoke at the conference dedicated to the "Day of the Gardener 2018". The report is the result of successful training of foreign students in Michuinsk SAU.

Working visit of representatives from the people's Republic of China
On September 19, 2018, the delegation of the Qingdao Agrarian University from the People's Republic of China visited Michurinsk State Agrarian University. During the visit, foreign guests met with the rector of the University Vadim Babushkin. The parties signed a Protocol of intent for the international summer school in the 2019 academic year, which involves the mutual exchange of students and is aimed at obtaining unique knowledge, skills and competencies for professional and personal development, the establishment of cooperation between representatives of different cultures. After the official part of the visit, was held a cultural program, which included excursions to the museums of the city.
