The football match between international students of Michurinsk SAU and TSU named after G.R. Derzhavin

On September 29, 2021, a football match between the teams of international students of Michurinsk SAU and TSU named after G.R. Derzhavin was held. The traditional annual match was dedicated to the Day of Friendship of nations of the Tambov region. In addition to playing football, international students of Michurinsk SAU visited the museum of TSU named after G.R. Derzhavin, took part in team building and exchanged cultural experiences with other university students.

Friendship of nations of the Tambov region

As part of the celebration of the Day of Friendship of nations of the Tambov region, an event for international first-year students was organized at the agrobiostation of the Michurinsk SAU. The organizers of the event were the employees of the International Department of the university. International students who came to study in Russia got acquainted with traditional Russian cuisine. As a treat, shchi, fragrant tea with pies were prepared for them. In turn, the first-year students from Central Asia prepared their national dish - pilaf. Such events help students to adapt to the new environment faster and help to overcome communication barriers.

Congratulations on the Great Victory Day from a Lebanese student of the preparatory Russian course

As part of the preparatory Russian course on the eve of the Great Victory celebration, a student from Lebanon, Saad Zahraa Ali, prepared a video presentation in which she spoke about her country's participation in the World War II.

International students took part in «4ContinentFest»

On April 27, as part of a complex of sports events, a rugby match was held between the teams of international students from TSU named after G. R. Derzhavin and Michurinsk SAU.

Before the competition, the participants listened to the rules of the game and a brief historical background about it. The students were satisfied with the match and especially noted the quality of the event.

Open Doors Day Online for international applicants

On April 15, the second Open Doors Day Online was held  for international applicants. This time, the Open Doors Day was attended by students of the preparatory course of Russian.

The emphasis in the presentation was made at the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry. Applicants got acquainted with the features of the profession "Veterinary doctor"; organizations that employ graduates of this direction of training; watched videos and photos that presented them with a veterinary hospital and a new building, where the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science is located.
