History of the city where I study
As part of the event dedicated to the Nations’ friendship Day «History of the city where I study»», foreign students of Michurinsk SAU (rector Vadim Babushkin) visited the local history museum. The International Relations Department of the University organized the event. Such activities are intended to help students get to know the traditions and culture of Russia better. Excursion represents good language practice, as they are held in Russian.

The football match between foreign students of Michurinsk SAU and TSU named after G.R. Derzhavin
On Friday, September 25, at the stadium of the TSU named after G.R. Derzhavin hosted a friendly match between the teams of foreign students of Michurinsk SAU and TSU named after G.R. Derzhavin. The traditional annual match this time was dedicated to Nations’ friendship Day. A friendly atmosphere reigned on the pitch: summer-like warm weather created an excellent mood for the students who enjoyed the game.

A day in the life of a first-year international student
The meeting with first-year students of Michurinsk SAU from abroad was fun, friendly and informative. Students learnt about the Michurinsk city, university and with each other. In the beginning of the year, guided tours and other special events are held for them. The program was prepared by the international relations office together with activists of the student community and the socio-pedagogical institute.

For beauty and comfort: a lawn restoration in the public garden of Michurinsk SAU
Square of Michurinsk SAU on the Sovetskaya st. is one of the beloved places of several generations of students, lecturers, and city-dwellers. This socially significant territory is a subject of special concern for employees and students of the fruits and vegetable growing institute named after I.V. Michurin. These days, the members of the student brigade under the leadership of Associate Professor of the Department of Landscape Architecture, Land Management and Cadastres Ilya Zavoloka are engaged in lawn repair work.

302 graduates of the Engineering Institute of the Michurinsk SAU (rector Vadim Babushkin) have received their diplomas, 6 of them – are international students.
