Vocational activities in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan

From April 8 to April 15, a delegation from the university has visited Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to promote the university’s educational programs to an international level. The delegation included the head of the international office of E.A. Yashinoy and executive secretary of the admissions committee E.M. Osipovich. During the trip, E.M. Osipovich and E.A. Yashin visited the Russian Center for Science and Culture in the city of Osh, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, through the mediation of which presentations were made about the university and its study programs, as well as trial introductory testing in city and district schools. As the director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Osh, Vasily Nikolayevich Alekseev noted, the demand for education in the Russian Federation and teaching Russian language is extremely high in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the republic is currently experiencing personnel shortages and a high need for qualified Russian language teachers, which opens up additional opportunities for Russian universities in the field of training specialists for national schools. A promising direction for the development of cooperation with the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Kyrgyz Republic is the organization of the Olympiad named after I.V. Michurin for citizens of the republic online, as well as conducting refresher courses for teachers of Russian language schools in Kyrgyzstan.

With support of the Tajik Center for International Programs in Dushanbe, with which the FSBEI HE Michurinsky GAU signed a cooperation agreement in 2017, delegation held the presentation about university , it’s structure and admission examinations for applicants from schools in the city and near regional centers. Along with this, the directions of development of cooperation in the field of information support of the FSBEI HE Michurinsky State Agrarian University and promotion of the university’s specialized programs among applicants in the Republic of Tajikistan are outlined.

The University is deeply grateful to the citizens of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the students of the fruit and vegetable growing institute named after I.V. Michurin - Ashirov Dierbek and Mamashukurov Otabek, as well as a citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan, a student of the Engineering Institute - Mirhakimov Homid for helping to disseminate information about the university and its educational programs among applicants from schools of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
