Pancake Week in Michurinsk SAU

Students, teachers and the management of Michurinsk SAU celebrated a Pancake Week. The winter send-off was held on the territory of the University’s agrobiological station. The teams of the Horticultural Institute named after I.V. Michurinsk, the Institute of Economics and Management, the Institute of Education and Social Sciences, the Institute of Engineering, the College and a team of international students gathered to measure strength, dexterity and have a lot of fun. The city's colleges and schools also joined the celebration.

The teams took part in various competitions: jumping in bags, tug of war, fighting with straw bags on a log, lifting weights. International students took an active part in all competitions. The most difficult challenge for the students was climbing the pole. As a result of this competition, students won valuable prizes - equipment for everyday life and entertainment.

The celebration culminated in the burning of an effigy and a tea party with pancakes. International students supported the Russian tradition and prepared pancakes in the fresh air.
