First-year students of Michurinsk State University from African countries, as well as students of preparatory courses for foreign citizens (pre-university training), visited the Museum of the History of the Agrouniversity.
Students from Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Nigeria and Benin were shown the museum's exposition, which includes 128 exhibits. The collection consists of archival documents, collections of photographs of different years, paintings, unique household items of the first half of the XX century. Acquaintance with the museum heritage began with the study of the history of the science city and the university, the contribution of the famous Russian scientist-breeder I.V. Michurin to the foundation and formation of the university. Students who arrived from far-abroad countries learned about the scientific achievements of scientists of the Michurinsk State Agrarian University, which allowed them to get to know Russian science and culture more closely.
