Shrovetide for active international students of Michurinsk SAU

On March 5, the Michurinsk State Agrarian University hosted a meeting for active international students and students of the preparatory training course in Russian language. Shrovetide is one of the most cheerful holidays of the year, which is widely celebrated in Russia. The students got acquainted with the history of the holiday, were able to taste traditional Russian treats: pancakes with tea, and also discuss all their questions.

Michurinsk SAU international partners at the National Scientific Horticultural Conference dedicated to the intensive orchard development

The Second National Scientific Horticultural Conference dedicated to the intensive orchard development took place at Michurinsk State Agrarian University online on November 16 2021. The expert of German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture project “German-Russian Agrarian Political Dialogue”, head of the Federal Research Center for Cultivated Plants (Julius Kuehn Institute, Dresden, Germany) Prof. Dr. Henryk Flachowsky made a scientific report “The Prospects of the Resistant Apple Selection”.

Cooperation with German-Russian Agrarian Political Dialogue project

Within the cooperation with German-Russian Agrarian Political Dialogue the scientists from Leipzig University (Germany), the Institute of Economic Informatics – head of the projects on horticultural digitalization in Saxonia, the expert of German-Russian Agrarian Political Dialogue Ingolf Roemer and his colleague Silvia Torres Landaverde – made a scientific presentation on The Experience of Digital Technologies Implementation into Horticultural Practice.
